Social Support Groups
“I have been to several Mind places and I get a good impression about the way it’s run, the philosophy, etc.” — A service user.
Previously known as “Drop-ins”, these are now known as “Open Door” groups. These are held both during the day and evening with the aim being to provide an informal social support facility. Members are able to enjoy various structured activities as well as day trips.
Our current Open Door Groups are:
Day
- Huntingdon
- Meet every Thursday at The Trinity Free Church, Buttsgrove Way, Hartford, Huntingdon, Cambs, PE29 1LY (map) from 2.00pm to 4.00pm
- St Neots
- Meet every Friday at The Limes, 24 New Street, St Neots, Cambs, PE19 1AJ (map) from 1.00pm to 3.00pm (There is also a lunch club on fridays running from 12.00 to 1.00pm)
- Ramsey
- Meet every Tuesday at The Rainbow Doctors Surgery, 1 Stocking Fen Road, Ramsey, Huntingdon, PE26 1SA (map) from 3.00pm to 5.00pm
- St Ives
- Meet at St Ives Methodist Church, The Waits, St Ives, Cambs, PE27 5BY (map) every Monday from 12.00 noon to 2.00pm

Evening
- The Evening Social Group cycles through each of the above areas in turn, please contact the Project Worker Team for further details, or consult the latest Programme of Activities.
Women’s Group
Meet every Thursday usually at The Limes, 24 New Street, St Neots, Cambs, PE19 1AJ from 10.30am until 12.00pm (map). However this group does take part in various activities outside of the building so it is best to contact the Project Worker Team to obtain details.
Men's Group
