  • Promote better mental health for country people, developing innovative support and care networks
  • To continually assess mental health need in the specific areas identified
  • Provide information and training for volunteers and professionals, working in rural communities
  • To network and develop partnerships with community organisations to maximise the available opportunities for Hunts.Mind service users
  • Work in partnership with service users and other agencies, help develop appropriate, effective and quality services
  • At all times to work in such a way that motivates and inspires Hunts.Mind service users and promotes their self-confidence

Our Work

  • National campaigning for better rural mental health services
  • Partnership working with other rural and mental health agencies
  • Services that are based on local needs, an opportunity to look at social, economic and cultural factors – tailored to fit the local community
  • Rural Development is linking with the Primary Care Mental Health Team in order to develop services in isolated areas.
